The Club offers a special opportunity for Golf Spouses to join at 50% off the entrance fee, which can be paid in 6 monthly payments. In addition, there are no spousal dues in the first year, with discounted club dues in subsequent years.

We are pleased to offer our Learn to Curl Program, offering six weeks of instruction.  For more information, please contact our Learn to Curl Program Coordinator Chris Poulouski.    

  • Week 1 - Safety/Balance/Introduction to Delivery
  • Week 2 - Delivery Direction & Turn
  • Week 3 - Sweeping/Delivery Weight
  • Week 4 - Introduction to Game Play & Rules
  • Week 5 - Game Play/Etiquette/Pace of Play
  • Week 6 - Supervised Game Play

 

2024-2025 Junior Curling Programs

The St. Catharines Golf & Country Club which will be conducted by our Assistant Golf Professionals, Kerri & Chris who are also certified in Youth Curling Instruction. 

There are two age groups with our youth curling programs:

Little Rockers
  • Our "Little Rockers" curling program is for those aged 7-12 and runs Sunday mornings from 10:00am to 11:00am.  
  • Parents are permitted to watch from behind the glass.
  • Included in the fee is the equipment required to participate, with the exception of clean indoor athletic shoes and a properly sized helmet.

Junior Curl & Golf Program
  • This program is for those aged 13-18 and runs Sunday mornings from 11:00am to 12:30pm.  
  • Included in the fee is the equipment required to participate, with the exception of clean indoor athletic shoes.
  • For those who are already more accomplished on the curling rink and are interested in curling on a more regular basis, this category does allow you to participate in certain leagues at other times of the week.
  • There will also be a golf component built in along the way using the Club's Sim Room.

Both programs will launch in November with an open house introductory session during their time slots.  Regular sessions will then begin go throughout the winter season until the end of March.

Both programs cost $120+hst and we ask that you reach out to Kerri via email ([email protected]) to confirm your interest in participating.  We have plenty of room in the program, so do not hesitate to invite siblings, relatives or friends.

Offering a wide range of league play, we can find a league which both you and your friends will enjoy.  From our most accomplished and competitive players, right down to those who are just picking up the game, our Club has a program which you will have fun experiencing.  We even offer leagues in curling's newest disciplines and formats.

Unlike the other curling clubs in the peninsula, we are a ‘full amenities’ private members club, offering championship golf, curling, dining, catering/meeting facilities, outdoor patio and fitness center.
