Sparing List
As any established curling team knows, the need for a spare often arises.  At our Club, any Unlimited Curler or those with Curling Add-on from Golf or Club memberships may spare in any league.  If you are a 'One League' curling member, you may spare at any point within your own league, or in any of our other leagues with a game fee of $20 will being billed to your house account.

Spares are required to throw front end rocks during league play, however they may call the game.  The only exceptions are for the Wednesday Afternoon Rated League as spares are placed by the league coordinators and in our Mixed Doubles League.

Friday Night Social League
Draw Start Time:
5:30pm & 7:30pm
Target Players:  All Abilities

Friday Night Social League - Friday night curling will be returning to four-person curling for this season, however with a twist. League entries will be done in pairs and you will then be asked to confirm your availability to play (this will be done electronically) each week. Curling Management will then draw teams and subsequently games for that weeks' play. No need to find spares for any weeks you can't play and you won't be placing your teammates in a bind if spares can't be found. If you want to jump into the fun on an occasional week, we will be able to manage that as well. This new format should create a very social atmosphere as you will be constantly introduced to new teammates and opponents.

Sunday "Rookie" League
Draw Start Time:
3:00pm
Target Players:  Beginners

Sunday "Rookie" League - A league designed to allow Learn to Curl Instructional Program graduates & those newer to the game to continue to refine their skills, now in a practical manner during game play.  Players will take turns rotating through team positions so that they may gain experience in all facets of the game.

The key difference with our program?  Instructors will be available throughout each game to assist with game strategy and to assist with improving technique.  We want our newer curlers to feel completely comfortable prior to joining one of our traditional leagues and this is a great program to ensure that transition from instruction to game play occurs properly.
