The Lighthouse Bonspiel

Originally named "The Oyster Bonspiel", the newly named Lighthouse Bonspiel carries on the tradition of being the first in-house bonspiel of the curling season. The 'spiel is normallly held in the weeks prior to Christmas and was originally named because of the tradition of raw oysters served in the festive season.
This is a fun 'spiel, open to any and all Club curlers and their families. Over the years teams have been composed of sons and daughters, and friends and neighbours.
The day includes three 6-end draws, with clam-chowder and oysters on request between draws. A lunch is included as well as prizes and the cherished Lighthouse trophy.
The signup sheet is on the notice board in the Curling Lounge
